• Saudi British Bank (SABB) is one of the largest banks in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). It is 60% owned by the Saudi Nationals and 40% by HSBC Holdings B.V. 
• SABB’s loans have been growing at a CAGR of 9.7% (2010-2014) compared to deposits which rose at a CAGR of 9.4% during the same period. 
• SABB’s total assets have increased from USD 33.4 billion in the year 2010 to USD 50 billion in 2014, representing a CAGR of 10.6%. Loans to deposit ratio stands at 78% as of 2014-end. 
• SABB has access to cheap source of funding as demand deposits constitute 59.4% of total deposits and these are low interest bearing deposits. 
• Asset quality of Saudi British bank remains strong as evidenced by low NPL at 1.27%. 
• SABB remains well capitalized with Tier-1 ratio at 15.6% in the year 2014 which much higher than the regulatory limit. 
• Net profit has increased by a CAGR of 23.4% in the past five years (2010-2014). SABB has consistently paid dividends to its shareholders. It has also outperformed the Saudi banking index and the general index in the past five year period (2010-2014).
