• First Fertilizer Company in Saudi Arabia, SAFCO was established in the year 1965 as a joint venture between the Government and the citizens of Saudi Arabia Based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. SAFCO is a public listed company with Saudi Arabian Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) owning 42.99%, Public Pension Agency owning 15.4% and 41.61% being held by public shareholders. 
• SAFCO operates in production and conversion (Ammonia to Urea) of agricultural chemicals. The majority of its revenue comes from production of Ammonia and Urea fertilizers. SAFCO is one of the largest producers of urea in the world where the annual production capacity is over 2.6 million ton of urea. 87% of the urea produced is exported to international market. 
• From 2010-14, the revenue of SAFCO has grown with a CAGR of 4.13% while the gross profit has grown with a CAGR of 3.21%. The revenues and the gross profit are both expected to increase by 5% in 2015.
